Carr wood road,2mins off m62,just looked on google maps,try it for the cafe or night out,i give you my word

used to use nickys tea van in the lay-by near dunton bassett when i worked out of croft quarry,very clean,and a nice woman.just take a pack-up now,or visit tesco near the store i deliver to.
Large van on A27 westbound Lewes-Brighton. Usually three staff (look OK from a distance!) always busy no matter what the time which says everything. Portaloo nearby. Long layby but don’t park on the bus stop - seen plod issuing tickets there and they pass often as headquarters nearby and have also seen them eating there.

Not what they used to be. Mum and daughter but they’re not there as often anymore.
Also get a choice of pork or lincolnshire sausage. Food is pre cooked though.

I have to be honest I hardly use them. Mainly because there is always a group of wise ar$e drivers in the way of the counter and the food choice is uninspired. Normally it’s just for a cuppa if I can’t be bothered to make a brew.Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get something other than dubious burgers, sausages and bacon.

There are good and bad ones and normally I can tell straightaway,
I always look at the state of the van and also the car pulling it as I think it’s a good indication of a persons cleanliness.
The ones on industrial estates sometimes have an agreement with one if the company’s on there to use there toilet facilities in exchange for the odd free sandwich,it’s the ones in a layby in middle of nowhere that make me wonder where they go to the toilet.

If I walked into a bar that was populated with shaven headed fellas sporting prison tats and swastikas, wearing knuckle dusters, carrying baseball bats in one hand with a doberman on a chain with the other I’d most likely about turn and make my exit sharpish. Based on what you’ve written you’d most likely order a pimms and look for some nice classical music on the jukebox!

I used them most days for the last 4 years but now I trying to lose some weight and save money, I haven’t been to one in 3 months and don’t miss watery bacon and grey sausages.
