The only note of caution I would mention about Plusnet is their use of your information. About 6 months ago I set up our aged neighbour with his first laptop and broadband through Plusnet. I made sure all of the ‘don’t give my information’ boxes were correctly ticked/unticked. Within two weeks he started getting these scam phonecalls from ‘Microsoft’ telling him his computer was running slowly etc. He’d never had them before and Plusnet were the only company that he’d had to give his personal details to. We contacted Plusnet and asked for their comments but they denied any wrong-doing. I’m still a fan of Plusnet but it’s just a word of warning.
