Hello Chris, I meant the depot they were from, should have worded it different. I think they had a depot in Swaffham as well as KL. Regards Haddy.

The 3H fleet number on the Bedford was the North Norfolk Group with depots at Cromer,Snettisham,Stalham,Swaffham, Wells and Wroxham. The depot at Swaffham was at Rookery Farm, so the Albion could have been based there.

Just found this photo of a different Albion from the same area. Perhaps parked at Rookery Farm as you wouldn’t load up in the middle of a field!
hiya,
Phew, just caught this one was nearly ready to fall off the bottom my “view your posts” list,
nothing to say at the moment, will have to give the grey matter a stir, and what’s happened
to our “Frenchy” hes been quiet for far too long.
thanks harry long retired.
Here you are Harry,I think I’ve posted this before but I can’t be arsed to look through all 75 pages. My favourite,an Albion Caledonian on Beattock.
Chris, an Albion what? Its an Albion HS57 with the ground nuts scheme cab, this cab was an all metal cab for use on the Ground Nut Scheme in Africa, Kenya I think, but the scheme was suddenly dropped by the British government, The Caledonian came much later using a Leyland 24 cab and the Leyland 9.8 600 engine…Tony.
I believe that one was later on Inter-City Transport of ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■
Wrexham depot Sed Atki`s photo shoot at Tetra Pak
hiya,
Great to see some new life being breathed into the red and rust thread.
thanks harry long retired.

Does anyone remember Ross-on-Wye depot?
I remember that Ross depot,Glass Glover Distribution took it over in the 70s for the Littlewoods contract. You could just turn a wagon and drag round in it at night to split and tip it. There was another haulier in there called Prosser.
