Brexit , borders and lorries

Indeed

And some of us it affect’s the most didn’t get to vote at all

I still cannot believe people who go and live in another country because they think that it’s so much better there demand to have a say in the country that they left behind. Really is beyond me.

We are going in circles - You have stated before that you are in Denmark, I hope i am correct . So stupid Brexit will affect you too. Did you get a vote to loose your right of free movement ? Don’t you care ?

Remember how the EU “needs” The City? 7,500 jobs and a trillion quid…£1,000,000,000,000… of assets gone.
Seems, just like we can adapt, so can they! Who would possibly have seen that happening?

Hoax, Fake News, (and there is no pandemic).

Almost as ludicrous as letting those who moved to a country, and made their live there, and pay their taxes, vote on national matters…

So, while we are at it, can you list in clearly defined points all the tangible benefits of us leaving the EU…

From where I’m sitting the foremost tangible benefit is witnessing your ■■■■■■■ and bleating! Honestly, it really does give me a warm glow. You lost, get over it

Fair enough. The referendum numbers and percentages can be tweaked to suit any argument, but the result stands. We are where we are. The guy asked you a fair question though. Any tangible benefits of leaving coming our way any time soon?

Simple if you don’t like the rules, don’t come. Not hard.

The immediate tangible benefit will be the only one I voted for; freedom of self determination and freedom from non British making rules applicable to MY country. As I’ve said before Brexit for me personally was never about immigration or the myriad of other things that others voted for. Just a recognition of the centuries of sacrifice that my forefathers made to ensure my freedom.

Assuming we arent talking about anarchy here? We accept there needs to be some form of government? If we have a government of one individual that would be anarchic. A government of one village works up to a point. But when one village wants the same land, water or other resource as the next one, they need to agree on a common set of rules, dont they? Either that or fight. Trade within agreed rules is the way we have gotten to this point. Best way for common rules is a common government.
So, in Southampton or Sleaford we have agree to “obey” London for many of our laws. We send MPs and whether or not the outcome of a debate is better for a port or agricultural area we accept it.
So why not Brussels? So long as the end is for the greatest good, for the greatest number of people, does it matter if its the village council, the national parliament, or an international one? . If anyone wants to argue that the EU is undemocratic, I readily concede it is far from perfect. Of course it is, it is made by humans to do a difficult job. However I invite them to show how our UK Parliament is so much better? . As a 21st century country, we may be a geographical island, but economically we arent. We cannot function alone as an economic unit.
Show how our negotiating a deal with the US such that we have to change our GM and animal welfare standards is so good?
What freedom is there in accepting US standards or Aussie standards in order to trade with them?
We have a say in EU standards, we have little influence anywhere else.
.
Is it all about money? No, but we cant ignore money either.

.

Nice idea but requires compromise, and the greater the number the greater the compromise. One thing like it or not the brexit vote united the country, it was only split in 2 . On a normal day it’s so divided, north and south, rich and poor, colour race and religion, old and young, and that is just the uk . Times that by 27 other countries then there is no way it will work. Age and life has taught me nobody is bothered about me and I am not bothering about them. Just look after number 1 , as everyone else is.

I don’t think so either. Anyone else care to reveal what good times are just around the corner for us all?

There you go, us and all doesn’t exist, it’s me and I .

I paid for an argument. That isn’t an argument ^^^ that’s contradiction.

Dunno about all of us?
But Dublin, Paris, and Frankfurt are all smiling already.

Seems those Brexiteers are good europeans after all. Daresay Rees-Mogg and his Somerset Investment Group aren`t the only ones benefitting?
Guess they are rolling in tangerines.

Who’s looking for an argument? Just wondering what tangible benefits are heading the UK’s way? Not for the elite who can afford to play the markets, but at the very least for the 17m who voted Leave?
