A very smart Leyland Octopus of Bents Brewery, Liverpool.
This is Norfolk Street in Liverpool in 1985, to the left of the picture is Guinness Export Bottlers.
The artic unit looks a bit like an ERF, and judging by the number plate, it may be a Suttons of
St Helens lorry. Straight ahead is Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Ray Smyth.

Hi Ray. That ERF may well of been a Park Royal motor as my friends father drove for their private fleet for many years.
I used to pick up and deliver a Bedford TL 7.5 ton box van they had for servicing and warranty work. It had side skirts and really looked nice.
An old time sign writer came to our workshop to sign write the Guinness emblem and name before delivery. Absolutely brilliant to watch him work.

Hello
The attached photos taken last year in Port Erin I.O.M.
Advertising Bushy’s Beer, it would appear to be based on a Citroen 2CV
Definitely based on a Citroën 2CV, but I’ve never seen any pictures of it yet on this side of the Channel!
That’s a later version of the 1924 Daimler ‘bottle’ that Bass owned, now at the National Motor Museum I believe?
Pete.
