How many of us have hidden a broken box, knowing the pallet would have got rejected.
i’ve put some beef in the cab for safe keeping, and half a pig, and some onions, oh and potatoes.
well if they were going to reject it anyways.

When i was Young i were delivering Kindergarden in Vienna.
Think i know most of them in those Days.starting at 07.00 and finish after Job done.
ohh yes,before i forget.that was by Day
In the Night i delivered for a Dairy to local Shops.Milk,Yogurt,Creme,Cheese, ect, ect,…
Starting at 21.30 till 06.00 about
Still my 8 Hour break i needed to sleep and recover.
But,after 3 Month when the Milk Driver was with Harvest finish on his Farm did i have the Idea to get the Money from Bank and do some Holiday.
Wasn’t any on the Bank.
Boss said his Wife is doing that and Wife said he is doing Wages. At last they closed down and are un-findable sine.
What i will say is “Hard Work isnt illegal, but have a close look to Company you work for.Not that you do the Job of two,for free”

Looks like he smashed into the door with his face ,whilst legging it !
the old saying hard work not easy ,easy work hard to find ,or a friend who went for a job on a farm saw the rusty shovel and fat dog and thought this is the job for me!

You must have a big microwave in the cab.
In a prevoius life, I had to deliver 1 Tonne (75 boxes) of liquid ice cream to a shop in Hunstanton. Had an arguement with the owner. Ended up with me doing a lot of hard work.
Next time I got the delivery, I was there at 06.00 and doorstepped the lot. Found out later that the door opened outwards. RESULT
Used to do flowers for Visbeen. Awkward customers got it dumped on the pavement & I signed the CMR’s. Once dumped them outside a bookies in Chelmsford instead of the flower shop next door.LOL!

Hiya…i went to a private house on the Wirral in the 70’s with 10,000 house bricks…(handball days)
the woman said we’re biulding a bunalow in the orchard so you can put the bricks over there,
my husband has left you a wheelbarrow so you don’t have to walk so much…hm hm sorry missus…
find a phone box and ring LBC for a redirection
John
This so reminds me of the time i was a young fit new driver engaged on brick cart for a local haulier running out of LBC Stewartby with a 4 wheeler TK Bedford and on some sites if they were short of labour you could unload your self for a price per thousand (cant remember the price but it was shillings) Well one day i was lucky enough to progress to a artic and set of now carrying 10,000 instead of the usual 4500 bricks, and was happy to find the delivery was a site that let you do a ■■■■■■ as we called it. what a mug twice as long and twice the back break.
I remember subbing for John Howard of Grimsby about 3 years ago.
Had to deliver 1plt of frozen fish to a chippie at tyndrum in Scotland.
After reversing round the cars in the car park and as close to the freeze me and one of the young lads who worked there stripped the pallet down and handballed it into the freezer.
After handballing the pallet the owner signed my note’s.
She then asked if I would like a fish supper I kindly said yes please she proseded to dish up fish, chips and peas hmmm I thought.
Then to my amazement she then charged me an over rated price for this pleasure to say I was miffed about this after about half an hour hard work lumping the fish blocks from the back of my fridge into her fridge was an under statement
That is what passes for Highland hospitality and why people go to Spain for their holidays.
I had a pallet of liquids-in-bottles in cardboard boxes go over. Some burst, so had to re-stack and hide the
wet boxes in the middle of the pallet
Another time I had some stock pinched thru a curtain cut. Luckily I had shrink-wrap with me so
tore it down, removed the torn box,re-wrapped and …no probs!
