Hi Phil,
I realy don’t know where to start, Oh by the way this John Newman here, It’s been a long long time, Sorry to here about your wife. I only just heard about alan just recently also Bob Sully. I “talk” to Kenny Cavell and also Dave Gorman who went to southamton Depot via “Facebook”. I can’t talk to them in person because I have lived in Spain since I retired nearly 10 years ago. Don’t ask me to speak Spanish, although I can now read most of it I have great difficulty speaking it.
When I get the hang of this board (it’s somewhat different to other blogs that I use) I will be putting some photo’s up, I’ve even got one with long time gone John Alan in it.
I don’t Know if you Know but I spent the last 5 years before retirement working for Securicor( would seem the’re gone now)
or is it only the name has changed
Got to go for now
regards
J. K. Newman

Hi Daytripper,
I tried to find what your real name was but couldn’t, anyway I’m the John who drove dev188t on Seatrain. Can you remember yet. well if you can’t the name is Newman. I’ve lived in Spain since I retired 10 yeard ago. It’s been great, the wine, they pratically give it away, and as you can imagine living here for as long as I have I know where all the best stuff is. I’ll keep this short.
regards
J. K. Newman
