Bob paul - r . i . p

Bad taste if you ask me its mourning page i thought or maybe i was wrong would paul laugh

Rayluv…I suppose you are right regarding the thread, It is Bob’s page and there are probably enough stories of Hoss to create his own thread……But bad taste? I don’t think so………Would Bob laugh?..….you bet he would.

So no need to be offended… As I do not believe Bob would have been

Would like to add condolences from frank white who used to sub for astrans. I didnt know much about astrans myself but have like many looked into what they have achieved as a company and have been impressed by what i have seen. R.I.P Mr Paul in that TIR park up yonder

hello sinbin ive just had time to look at the photo’s on my phone & found this one of you looking for sugar for ya tea. [not salt] lol

What a great picture.

No no, you should go this way

Great end to a great thread. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Nice one Roders

For them not with sugar/salt thing Bob Pauls niece made tea and coffee but by mistake put two spoons of salt in the Teas instead of sugar nearly made me sick but brought a good laugh to a somber occasion.

Here’s a photo of Mr. and Mrs. Paul at one of Astran’s Christmas parties in about the early 80’s with Frank Brandon

Parked up against the office doors would be an old trailer where the disco would be… look at them go! They were so much fun.

I could have sworn I had seen that photo before, and then I found it on Google:P

Sorry Mrs. Paul

That DJ must have been good at his job as if he was’nt and the Astrans lads took a dislike to the “crap” he was playing----well there was no where for him to “leg it” out of that step frame!!! He would be "bang to rights "with all his equipment!!! Obviously he must have been an Astran employee! On a sombre note it appears that Mr.Paul was very well thought of. Regards Bewick.
