plantronics m55 for me, 11hrs talk time and connects to work and personal phone, I also like the feature when your out of range it goes into to battery save mode
I have this and it’s great. Really good range too, can often get on the back of the trailer and unload with it still conencted. Drops occasionally though
Double tap to redial last number which is a handy feature. Recommended for the price (£20).
I had to get a new one so a quick trip to the local O2 shop sorted me out. O2 branded jabra easycall for £20. Independent volume control, double tap redial, speech warnings rather than beeps, reads txt messages if you tell it to (voice activated), on/off switch, voice and music through the headset.
its a lot fancier than the jabra 2045 which is now my PS3 headset for £5 more. Apparently jabra branded items cost twice as much even though they make rebranded headsets for companies like O2 and Samsung which still have the jabra name on them

I have a Jabra headset, can’t remember which model, with the double click last number re-dial. It goes in the side pocket of my work holdall. Last week I chucked it into the truck I had been allocated, put in my card and started the walk round(all at 5.15). When I got back to the cab my phone was ringing. I wondered who the ■■■■ was phoning me at this time. It was the wife–woken by the house phone(the last number I had dialled the day before ). Me chucking the bag into the truck had switched the headset on and re-dialled the last number—26 times. Whoops. I was not exactly flavour of the month.
BT headsets dont exactly like being put thru the washing machine after you leave them in the shirt pocket  So now Ive just invested in a Parrot Bluetooth minikit neo, I just need to go down the sorting office & pick up the parcel tomorrow.

i found motorola headsets the best , just wish i wouldn’t keep putting them through washing machine
Totally agree with this. Was gutted when my h35 gave up after 6 years great service. Hammered it for at least 5 hrs a day. Couldn’t get one for love nor money, and don’t trust buying electricals online for fear of being given inferior seconds. Got a samsung 3100 free with my phone, after trying a few cheap ones, and the sound quality is almost as good as the Motorola. The last one I tried was terrible, I felt like a right mug for asking people to repeat themselves 5 times. Didn’t even keep it for emergencies. Happily hit it with a club hammer

why waste money on a bluetooth headset, i think all modern smart phones come with earphones.
never had a problem with volume on my blackberry headphones, they are FREE with the phone, and you dont need to charge them.
I used to think the same, until the phone dropped through a hole in my pocket, because the wire limited the places I could put it. First I knew was when a lorry moved off behind me, I turned to see a crushed phone and thought, I’ve got the same one as that
I never found one that didn’t fall out in seconds or at least get loose so that when making a call it needs pushing back in (hardly hands free ).
I just use my snooper satnav, works a treat .

Now I’m assuming in the interests of the law, those that don’t have a built in bluetooth in their cabs, use a headset instead. I have gone through a few in my time, but have yet to find one that is loud enough despite the volume on the phone and the headset being at the max. I’m currently using a Nokia BH100, and it’s fair to middling to say the least.
Anyone recommend a headset that nearly blows their ears off?
Ken.
Hi Quinny. I have had the same issues regarding headsets but now I use a completely different set up. Its called the JABRA DRIVE; its a bluetooth remote speaker costing £30-£40 and well worth the money.
Jabra easygo at the moment (until it gets lost, run over, washed ) as long as its got a hook over I’m not too fussy but I usually opt for a Jabra, never had any issues with them so far.
