Hello Mark and John,

Sorry not been on to post lately , busy then holiday then busy , I got a few truck photos but just theses two day too post .
(1) The hoff parked up in Le mans this week whilst on a trip too Bussiere- Poitevine ,also bought a photo of the old Atego off ebay ,we sold this two years ago to Graham Mc kenzie from Wick .

Bit of news our 3.5t sprinter was hit from behind whilst on a packing job, luckly no one was killed and the van has been in for the repairs ,paint etc ,so I added more money and had a total repaint .

Would love to see that TK ON THE SHOW CIRCUIT .

Mark , most of the damage was cosmetic ,rear door was hit and knocked the ramp flying down the side ,so acted like a cheese grater, we had to have a full repaint ,me paying for half of the van , should be back this week then the sign writing/sticker to be done . At lease she is spruced up for a couple of years ,driver was ■■■■■■ off having to use a plain white luton Citroen :open_mouth:

Hi Steve…Red Funnel Ferry Southampton

I remember going over to the Isle of Wight in the early 90s in a Bedford TK. …left early hours from Swansea…on the way down I stopped in that transport cafe at Codford just above Salisbury on the A36 for breakfast…came out and the bugger wouldn’t start I was catching the ferry in about 2 hours so no time for repair…so got a ■■■■■■ off a tipper driver…made my down to the ferry port Red Funnel and left her running…boarded the ferry then told the guy on the boat I couldn’t turn the engine off…so I left her running on the deck…and the same on the way back…those were the days good old Bedford TK…you wouldn’t get away with that these days.

Regards Mark

Mark, Now that is strange you say that :open_mouth:

No defects from the usual driver and No know jump starts before , try to jump start with jump start pack !!! :imp: ,Not been charged since I was away even though young lads had borrowed it :imp: ,jump start from Daf.
Travel down to Portsmouth (late for ferry by 20 min) due to congestion on A34 , park up for 30 min ,start (no problem) ,on to ferry .

Day3 ,return and drop porters off at the yard ,over to dealers £389 plus vat lighter but two new batteries (they reckon they were only one year warranty !!!) but the new ones are two years !! yes ok I roll over and you can shag me !!! , No way Jack , the TGL IN December will be off ! ,there now saying there look in to it "you better I said " :open_mouth:
