Nice pics John, the cab looks pretty tidy from what i can see and looks like it would make a good restoration.

Just flicked through a couple of pages, so please forgive my questions. I created a thread earlier about me, a bus man, converting to the other side- HGV driving.
Seem a few companies looking for bodies- Porters and drivers. Any idea what a hgv driver is typically on?
Is it fairly steady and secure? What if the house movers scene dried up, presumably the company won’t pay you? Is the HGV class 1 or 2 generally?

looking at replacing my motor now ,NEw 12t ON THE HORIZON !!! with under slung tail lift .

Hi Steve yes plenty on way up your 4 miles from ilfracombe there’s a big beach up there with a coach park or if you going up coast rd from Barnstable loads of lay bys on way also ,or there’s a truck park in Barnstable in the town

Steve yes heavy load lot of owner packed cartons and a lot of heavy wood furniture and stone garden orniments and pots…its going down to Pau not far from spanish border…tipping it next week and picking another full load to come back just North of Paris for Swansea…you flat out then Steve ?

Just found this taken round the corner where I used to live 1978 this shot is glyndwr st where Jones had his trucks one in the background facing in and one facing out behind it there used to be 12 parked under the motorway and in the street,the boy in the middle we both grew up together still see him around

Cracking adverts again…I remember Griff Fender having an Austin same as the one here in the advert you have posted…it was there Tow truck with a big winch on the back…wish I had a pic of it…when I was a very young lad I use to think it was ancient 
Just a pic of one of our Van’s back in the day…had her from new and she was worked hard during her life UNE 525S Bedford with a 500 engine…she was a flyer in her day.
Cracking load Mark but that would take at least four hours to unload with two of you ,even more with the current heat !!! 
, yes we are rammed solid and trying cram in as much as we can ,but we all knows what happens when this happens ,DAMAGE !!!, so we going to have calm down with care ,bumper been hit on the VITO so far mr nobody !! also small scratch on the bumper of the Kangoo (mr nobody) a few small bits of poor packing ! but we got this under contol (hopefully)

Hi mark,it’s where calne coaches are based towards hills recycling centre across from the big industrial estate it’s up where the new houses Are,well loaded that is mate ,is that ford the other side yours as well
