Its a bit like listening at a séance and wondering that the person alleged to be dead is referring to you, but I’ve looked and re-looked at that photo and cannot help suspect it might be one of ours when it was new.
We had quite a few with that cab mould (About W & X reg.) and three in particular had been bought personally (When new) cash by my father and leased to W. H. Williams (Haulage) Ltd on a monthly basis and he personally sold them to a dealer who specialised in selling Luton & Pantechnicons based in Slough Late 1985 and I cannot help think it might be one of those. The size seems about right for our specifications and the proof would be is there a Radcliffe Tail lift fitted? looking at the back of that van, it might just be shadow, but I think it might have. The last of this model we bought had the roof sloped down a bit Like the 2 on this photo had, but most did not.
Hi Carl,
Hope you are well and on the road to recovery !
Reading your post in regard to the Browns Integral…lovely looking van…i’ve seen pics of this van before from both angles back front and sides …shes fitted with a walk in split tailboard for bay loading also and a single side door to the nearside…the reg is NJP 549W a Warrington reg as you would know…but it is identical to the same ones you ran when new.
The Pantecnicon dealer you mention in Slough would it have been Rex Commercials.
Nice advert Dean…dread to think what this wagon and drag drove like fully loaded
Bet the brakes needed regular looking at on that TK pulling and stopping that trailer.

Nasty chap ! Like you say the photo does not show the true extent of the angle.
Had a similar experience in Southern Spain, got to a complex and there was a frigging arch way you could not get under
even though we had asked about access ! Ended up with a 200 foot carry in 80 degrees…
Thats when you are glad you always have sack trucks on board.
