At this one it certainly is! You have to push a button at the gate to talk to the guy in the office, first thing out of his mouth to all the drivers I watched go in was: “Driver, is your fridge off and reversing bleepers turned off?”
They didn’t even open the gate unless it was!

Can anyone answer this one? I asked a VOSA MOT tester a question regarding the ABS dashboard warning light. His answer was “you will have to ask an enforcement officer, I am a tester”

So which are we talking about then■■? Cos there is no way some little ■■■■ in an office is going to tell me to turn my fridge off. Please let us know so all us fridge boys can have some fun.

Had a truck yesterday that had an audible warning bleeper (external) fitted to the indicators, so when you turned left, right or switched the hazard lights on, you automatically got a warning bleeper.

Think it may have been fitted to warn cyclist’s and pedestrians.

Couldn’t find a switch to turn it off.

You do provoke them, you will have Trucknet’s own former security guard getting all indignant again.
