skids:
Pure highway, I don’t have an aux in so its fm transmitter for me. I find i can leave it on 87.6 most of the time and put it up to 87.9 if I get some interference. Works for me
which transmitter do you have? I have a belkin but the range is short, starts at 88.1. Nightmare in London.
The Pure Highway has one built in. If your having problems then what I used to do was take the truck ariel off. Gets rid of most of the outside stations.
Only problem with that is I’m a fleet driver so different truck every day. Could be a winner for the car, although I find 88.1 quite useful round here.
You can always plug your walkman/mp3 player into it as well, and yes with the ariel removed, it picks up better without all that outside interference.
I’ve not been to London for a while, but I always remember anything around the skyscrapers was rubbish for reception. (East,Southeast districts) Dunno what effect that new Shard is going to have, but being in SE london as well, the question I should really ask is “What effects in SW/NW areas like Cricklewood & Sutton?”

No problem takes under 20 seconds to get it up and running .If you get one get the mag ariel.
I was looking at the new pure highway in halfords the other day, good looking bit of kit and a fraction of the size. BIG jump in price though, up to just under £140
