Franglais:
The Gov are actually suing PPE Medpro now, for return of the full amount they received as the goods were unfit, plus charges for storage of the rubbish kit.
It seems that PPE Medpro did supply some fit for purpose masks in another contract. But at a vastly inflated price.
The National Crime Agency has launched an investigation into PPE Medpro.

I’ll not hold my breath on the Govt actually recovering a single penny and I’ll not hold my breath until there is a single successful prosecution.

Neither will I be waiting expectantly.
I hope they do a thorough job in the investigation, and a just outcome is achieved.
I would hope the Gov starts investigating the Furlough frauds too.
Lord Agnew had the decency to resign over that, not involved himself but refusing to be part of the same ****show.
“Total fraud loss across government is estimated at £29 billion a year. Of course, not all can be stopped, but a combination of arrogance, indolence and ignorance freezes the government machine.”
Ripping off the Gov isn`t a victimless crime.
Anyone standing back and doing nowt is nearly as bad as those wishing luck to those “who get away with it”.
Let them carry on walking all over you, and guess what? They will.
Has she adapted a ''sackcloth and ashes ‘’ policy in token of penance of the wrongs she has done.
Has she gone into hiding in a convent wearing a hair suit and sporting a shaved head?
Nah she’s living it up booked into a 6 grand a night luxury hotel in a French ski resort,.eating oysters and sipping champagne. …in her peephole bra and christmas thong
.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-w … e-28783318
How ‘‘outrageous’’ eh?
I’m severely depressed over all this, I’m so angry I’m going to write a letter to The Guardian,.that’ll show her.

Maybe she isn`t bothered…so what?
I doubt she is very bothered about waiting times for under-funded NHS services either.
RobRoy:
“I just got an Xray appointment sorted after 3 months, but even then I had to wait 6 weeks only for a telephone consultation with my GP to arrange the [zb] thing in the first place…
My Mrs has had similar problems to see the doctor also.”
Alleged ripping off of Gov NHS funds?
Shortage of cash to treat ordinary folks?
Never mind the Doc`s, best get yourself an appointment at the opticians, mate.
You’re damned right. As far as I’m concerned that is in essence an act of treason and should be treated as such. AFAIK treason and sabotage in the Kings naval dockyards still carries the death penalty. How sobering and refreshing would it be to focus the minds of every other chancer if they saw other scum in the same vein as them swinging in the breeze?

Maybe youll have a nice chat about this with "thats the kind of guy I am" character sometime?
robroy:
To remain on topic …I wonder how many who are getting their tampons in a twist over this, would say in a ‘Harry Enfield self righteous brothers’’ stylee…
''Hoy !! Boris, NO…I’m an honourable pillar of the community, you can keep your multi million pound fee, bung, or charge, put the job up for tender, honesty is the best policy in my book,.so stick your lucrative contract where the sun does not shine,.I’m going to open a newsagents and make my living honestly ‘’
To.anybody who doesn’t know what I’m on about…a bit like this.
Me?
I’m more of a realist, the choice of being somewhere between Mother Teresa and Saint Thomas More, and fighting to make a living by just getting by.
Or.
Looking after number one,.being streetwise,.a bit dodgy, and reaping the benefits,…I’d be driving down the beach via Sunset Boulevard in my Ferrari, on the phone thanking whoever, for the proceeds of my dodgy masks bought by those daft enough to wear them in public… no mistake.
But there again I ain’t pretentious and judgemental, and up my own arse in a self satisfied way being judge and jury on everything I don’t agree with on a crusade.
Coming from a conspiracists (if that’s a word) point of view. This whole situation is mearly a shot across the bows of every ‘brought and paid for’ politician. To remind them to stay in line.
Referring to Franglais’ youtube link, it took a ‘HSBC leak’ to blow this story open. The useful idiot’s use becomes clear.
4 days short of a year since the last post about Moaning Mone.
She is now telling us that she has been lying about her involvement in PPE deals to protect her children from press intrusion…?
The press are involved because she has been lying about her involvement in PPE deals. Im not sure Ive seen much mention of them in the press?
Her poor wee kids are only about 24, 28 and 30 years old.
Telling lies to the press is, as she tells us, no crime. True enough.
Expecting people to believe you after you have been caught in a series of lies, and have threatened legal action for libel in those challenging those lies, is also not a crime.
We can all decide for ourselves whether to believe anything she says in the future.
Anyways, the wheels of justice grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.
I hope.
It’s been a year since this was active. In something that reminds me of Prince Andrew being interviewed by Emily Maitlis The Baroness and her Husband also appear to have figured that doing an exclusive interview with the beeb would be good to regain their public image. Didn’t come over to me that they were both the heroes of the moment, to be honest.
There is also this one on YT which I think PPE Medpro paid for, might put them in a more favourable light
Maybe not much in the media, but it seems that a lot has been going on in the background.

Oh yes…“I think that went well”…quoth he.
I daresay that Mone would actually like the fate of Andrew? To be out of view!
Havent seen of the link you posted yet, (Im eating and want to keep my dinner inside me) but at first glance, it cites that well known pillar of propriety B. Johnson, and then cuts to a clip of the late Queen. I guess She gave her permission for such a clip?
Over an hour of that fluff piece must have cost em a fair lump? Guessing that isnt because they are extremely confident in their position?

I was going to endure it before bed but glanced and thought I was in for 11min not 1hr 11, so will be attempted in palatable chunks …
“We were forced to spend several thousand pounds of costs in legal fees responding to her mendacious threats. We want our money back. More than that, we want to establish a future deterrent against wealthy individuals willing to lie to stymie honest reporting.”
Jolyon Maugham KC, founder and director of Good Law Project, said: “The law must not allow itself to become a tool whereby those with money can bully and silence those with none."
I can see that Frangers is particularly concerned over all this,.and I see where he is coming from.
Well I have give this fascinating subject a lot of thought.
We must look at this scandal from all sides.
We must look at the character of Ms Mohne, and weigh up if she is actually guilty or not guilty of the accusations directed at her both in terms of morality and the actual law of the land.
Can her versions of events be credible, the truth, or is she just trying to cover herself in a damage limitation excercise,.so as not to bring adverse publicity and reaction to her already lucrative businesses, which she is the figurehead of.
Either way she and her partner have made a killing.
So I have weighed up the situation in hand from all directions,.and I have personally come to an educated and well considered conclusion, coming at it from an in depth political point of view.
My final conclusion and considered opinion is…
She’s just the tip of the iceberg but don’t you worry - they’re going after that bloke on a dingy with 20 pence to his name. He’s the one to worry about - not the one theiving 200 million.
