what class you race in mate?
I don’t no more my family still do, mainly at radford I worked through mini stock up to class 7 did a bit of privately entered rally then I had an accident outside of racing that stopped me, my cousin and uncle race The Emms family,my mate dan Paige and then of course there’s stinkbridge ,bessant and fitzpatrick.
On the bangers though my mate oli does work at hendsford and Birmingham wheels.
Would love to get back into racing myself.
i raced in class 2 for years from the ■■■■■■ era,to a fiesta then latterly a nova until my lads came of age to race and i built 2 junior minis i used to travel everywhere to race,liked radfords track. the costs nowadays though are huge arent they and there doesnt seem to be much fun in it like there was. ive got mates still racing in various classes mind
I’m off to arena Essex tomorrow got an all Granada meet should be fun.
I’ve not been to Arena for a year or two but it’s usually a good programme there. In the summer I camped with my two lads at Thetford Forest for a bit of mountain biking and we wandered over to Mildenhall stadium, bloody epic it was there. Absolute nutters racing there, every race was like it was going to be the last one.
I’m going to keep my eye on the fixtures next year and might go up for a special sounding one.
