Years ago First bus were moving all there VT buses (Volvo tri-axles) to ■■■■■■■■■■■ but there was rumours some were going to blantyre. At Buchanan bus station, a blantyre driver/blowhard said very loudly to a ■■■■■■■■■■■ driver “Look, youre getting 5 and we’re getting 5 and that is 100% guaranteed fact. Ive seen the paperwork” to which I enquired “How can that be true? There only are 9?”.
He went rather quiet after that!

I work for First (not for much longer) and I’m still waiting for the massive underground depot they were definitely building.

Well there’s a new store opening near me soon (formerly Home Bargains, formerly Poundland, formerly Focus DIY) as the shopfitters are in there now, wonder if B&M will have more staying power lol.

No. A couple of weeks ago a written notice was put out by the B & M owners to all staff, telling them that B & M planned to continue expanding, and would definitely not be sold or taken over by any third party anytime soon. We were all assured that there would be no takeover.

I worked there for ten years in Blackpool and was told we’re definitely not moving to Liverpool where are they now Liverpool they won’t tell drivers nothing because obviously they don’t want them to jump ship they might not get bought out but I wouldn’t hold my breath something will happen they won’t tell you jack
