Well that’s not bad for a little west country haulage firm quarter of a million views, thanks everyone for looking and the input. This will have been on here before but it one of my favourites. Thanks to a good boss while I was working there , and he remained a friend and mentor in my own business. It was a privilege to work with such a good crowd of drivers, office and garage staff in my 12 years employment.

Yes John , Chard meat started doing some of there own export work late 70s early 80s they previously had seddon Atkis then bought the F10s. Lasted a few years I think. We did a lot of the export from there for quite a few years , mostly into France , but a bit of Germany and Belgium, later a lot to Greece. Think they finished early 80s.

The MAN belonged to Phelps and Davies they were from Trowbridge or Frome not sure now.

Thought I was right about the F10S coming after the Seddon Atki P.reg on Atki and T reg on the Volvo thanks Buzzer, even if it was a mistake. Must be old age setting in.
