I hate repeating myself but for your benefit Dreva; Astran (Asian Transport, Does that count?) where the first company to run overland from the UK to the M/E, they have always done this work (alongside many others mentioned in this thread) BUT unlike ALL of the other companies that followed Astran to & from the Middle East they still do!!

So, in my mind that does make them “The B’ all & end all” of Middle East road haulage!!!

Cmon YOU all please this is so bad, and for anyones info Seymore dont own Astran they took over the running of the company, A consortium of Lebanese Bankers own the name Astrans and have done since the introduction of the Mercs on the Astran fleet in the 80s ,I will have to dig it out but it was something like (Gargour and fills) but does it realy matter they were great to work for in the 70s and 80s so were all the drivers ,things have changed ,but lets not slagg off the name Astrans in anyform as you slagg off the drivers as well when doing so ,any more of this I will contact the Thorn Bro’s and they will sort you all out :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:
