i put other as being a mobile fitter during the week I get breaks as and when i can(usualy every 2 hours i get to stop for 30 mins)I get paid from start to finish of the day…
Other.
Full-time employed paid mileage and a plethora of other bonuses. So some breaks are kind of paid for and some aren’t.
Other.
I’m paid from when I put my card in, until I take it out.
It’s something I have VERY strong feelings about !!
(When I was younger) I wouldn’t mind too much if I took a break in an actual canteen/msa/truckstop etc that ALL the facilities I might want, and “they” wanted to stop three quarters of an hour from my money; but as most breaks where taken either tipping/loading or in laybys or within sites with no facilities, my argument would be that even though I was taking a break to satisfy “the law” - I was still in the truck, still responsible for the truck, etc etc - therefore I would still be “at” work, as such. So PAY ME !! !! !!
It’s the same reason/mindset as to why I won’t work for any sort of mileage/percentage “bonus” type wages.
I get 30mins taken off however many breaks I take.
On a set daily rate so yes i do get paid for my breaks
same as harry i get 30 mins taken off no matter how many breaks i have, or how many hrs i work
I’m on fixed salary. Far as I can see that makes it irrelevant as to whether I’m deducted a break or not, I’m still paid the same.
I do agency. What I get paid depends on the client. Some deduct 45 some deduct 1 hour. Have to remeber to take 1 hour for those that do. All pay for second 45 when required.
After 8 hours, 45 minutes deducted from total duty each day.
I always take minimum 1 hour break each day if second break required take another hour.
