To get back to Kylie…
20+ years older since that record, and looking even better !

Fit women are like fine wines, the more mature they get, the better they are.

… is a good call. I used to live in Chertsey, can’t remember the name of the pub.

John Clarke (RIP) and Brian Dawe used to do the best 3-minute skits of Australian bollydicks ever. If you’ve never watched ‘The Games’ (2000) you’ve missed a right treat.

John Clarke was actually a Kiwi. One of the most wonderfully daft things I’ve ever seen is the Fred Dagg Country Calendar tapes from the 70s:

Country of birth has never prevented us claiming anyone who has made a name for themselves, cue John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Barnes and Rolf Harris, who we couldn’t give back quick enough, when he blotted his copy book.

Are all Poms weird?..the thread says.

Ok…well I’ve had about half a dozen…(ok maybe more ) of this today while watching Liverpool v Man City game with my Liverpool fan mate.
Plum pudding ale.

Got to reccomend it, strong fruity and tangy.
After a couple of pints of Ruddles it had a bit of a ‘cough medicine’ vibe, but it suddenly started going down ('a bit too) well.
So is that weird enough?

Give it a try anyhow, if you are interested.

The Bridge Hotel is a Youngs pub. They’ve upgraded a lot of the local ones to hotel/pubs.There are lots of them locally like Kingston, Surbiton and Esher. Also lots of Fullers pubs. Both Special and ESB respectively are second to none default choices.
Sometimes have a few pints in both without needing to go far between them.
