I’d imagine that if you were an o/d or worked for a company that didn’t pay your parking then there would be three extra reasons to be ■■■■■■ off.

It’s not your parking they wouldn’t be paying, it’s their parking. If they don’t pay it then you don’t pay it and they get the ticket so it costs them more.

Yeah it’s over the top but the the cost of parking anything anywhere these days isn’t cheap anymore. I flew into Stanstead from Poland yesterday evening and the person who was collecting us had parked in the arrivals parking for 30 minutes which cost £6!!
The worst thing is, you have to pay to use the toilets at Locking Road Weston now they have been refurbished. If you don’t want to pay the council a tenner, then go over the bridge and park at the rugby club or by the station.

Unless your Harry then you could use the money saved on a legitimate business expense to undercut other haulage contractors or buy a new truck

not been to stratford upon avon for many years,if anyone knows does it still have that big car park or wasteground just outside the town,that was free to park in for an overnighter,or has it gone the way of other free land, I e office complex or shopping centre,or other,cant remember exactly where it was but it was as you drive out the other side of stratford on avon,we overnighted there went on a pub crawl,and the removals foreman came back with a bxxxxy curry,i hate curry and he stunk the cab out, lolThere’s the car park behind the sports centre where you can park you mean that? The council there have it right it’s only a couple of quid after 6pm and if you are there before 6 and the traffic wardens there he’ll let you wait till the price drops at 6pm to get a ticket.
Also get a free shower in the sports centre
don’t really know TBH I do know it was very big [probably a few acres]we did stop at the sports centre for a shower but then drove about a quarter of a mile outside to this place,nothing to pay either,as I said though a few years ago [late 90s]
