Agency driver laugh of the week

Only foreigners could come up with such a stupid siting for a steering wheel adjusting button, Renault especially.

Good job he didn’t need to top the oil up in a Stralis then…or is oil checking a thing of the past now, i see core full timers day after day jump into their lorries and fire 'em straight up so doubt the agency bods would be any different.

Ever driven an E series ERF? An English firm that managed to make a truck feel like you were driving a 1950’s bus.

Easy to check look underneath.
If there’s no oil in a nice puddle beneath it there’s none in it.

Had a lad defect a V8 Landrover for sounding rough

The first time i ever jumped into a stralis, after about 10 mins of really trying my best to figure it out by myself, i swallowed my pride and asked someone how to get the [zb] in gear    never even entertained the buttons on the dash!!!

And the Actros has it on the armrest. Who’d have thought it? I spent 10mins on Saturday before I ended up Googling it

Hiya had a agency driver at our palce, he drove a newish volvo fm for two weeks
then when onto a daf. the driver of the volvo checked his oil when he come back
of holiday to find the oil level low, not a problem really. the regular driver mentioned
the oil been low, standing by the coffee machine, this is when the agency driver said
he,d been driving that lorry. the regular driver said to him the oil,s only partway up the dipstick. the agency driver replied, don,t be stupid the oils all run into the sump.
good one that
John

We’ve had foreigners put ad blue in the diesel tank a few times :open_mouth:
