He’s probably forgotten more than you’ll ever know.
Really he comes across as a right bell end who doesn’t drive hgvs’ a bit like you.
Have you not read his signature. What he said may not be very pallatable, but its the truth. though someone needs to tell the Knob car driver who then pull infront you and slam on the anchors, just because youre adhering to the speed limit.

There are two settings for these [zb] things.
A set trigger point for car speed and a set trigger point for HGV’s.
As far as I know all Gatso’s are capable of triggering HGV’s on national limit SC. aka 40mph.
We have 2 down our way on the A30, Roseworthy dip. HGV’s will set them off at 45+.
There was a thread here somewhere showing inside the back of one with the 2 adjustments for the 2 vehicles.
Watch out for all those in Lincolnshire, especialy the A15 north off Cearnby corner.
not all them work, got flashed off the 1 going past the power station 1 nite (think its trannent?) and never got a ticket. also the next 1 down from that 1. just after the bus stop.
slightly off topic …
They`ve approved a new type of speed camera for use on motorways
A new type of speed camera recently went live after receiving Home Office approval.
The Redflex HADECS is a gantry mounted digital speed camera that is being deployed on our motorways where variable speed limits are operated. A single camera is able to monitor up-to five active lanes of traffic including those sections of motorway where a hard shoulder can also be used as a live lane.
Dual radars are used to measure speed and data is transmitted digitally. These rear facing cameras are far more discrete than we are used to, looking more like a CCTV installation than a traditional speed camera.
We’ve already had reports that these cameras, installed between junctions 5 and 6 on the M25 are now flashing away and capturing hundreds of motorists unaware.
Great advice from someone who don,t or can,t drive for a living !! What a ■■■■ and i didn,t know you could get flashed by an anpr camera ?
Well I can, and do, drive for a living, and I would agree with him.
As a full time driver it’s called practising and displaying professionalism
if that makes me a ■■■■/bellend (or any other names you appear to be good at calling people ) so be it, I couldn’t give a ■■■■
