Were these all put out to pasture seeing as they’re parked in what looks like a field ?
Surely not ?

PS. Found another one lurking on my HD. :sunglasses:

With the Matador in the background I think that might have been taken at one of the small gatherings of old motors back in the 80’s. The grass looks like the field behind the garage.

Hi Ash
Great to see yourself & John again good luck with all thev projects regards to all Rich

Hi, Thanks For the pictures and comments.

The picture with the lorrys parked in the field was taken behind our garage in the early 80’s at one of our open days which have become an annual event.

Heres a picture of my great grandad Alfred’s horse and cart, Were not sure who the chap is in the picture or where it was taken.
The sign writing on the cart says A. Pearson, Foleshill, Coventry, 8.12.1927

Heres another picture of my great grandad standing behind the old workshop. The lorry is an Austin K4, the registration number was either ENP776 or ENP777 as he bought two from Pailton and converted them from flats into tippers. One of the two vehicles was called Rosa.

Couple more.

A ‘few’ more I’ve dug out from the collection.

Many thanks to you and your family for the open evening last night, Ashley -

  • nice to hear the two stroke bellowing up the road too¬!

Although I hope to see this one back in action soon!

A Foden you might have known B911 JHH. I drove this for Burys in 1988 out of adderbury on M40
have you any pics of the same reg ?

Hi Lightswitch,

Really sorry for the late reply. I’ve not been on here for a while. No we didn’t run B911 JHH but we did have B910 JHH from Burys.
