There is one thing driving round Peckham and Paris, drivers are much more confident, if there is a gap, they go for it, not like in the Home counties where the only stipulation to get a driving licence is you must own a hat-pin or a ■■■■■■■■■■ :stuck_out_tongue:

As a cabby would say blimey you must be 'avin a laugh.London drivers can’t handle speeds above 20 or 30 mph because they never get a chance to drive much faster than that which is why Transport for London cut the old Surrey County 70 mph limit on the Kingston by pass from 70 mph to 50.

The only thing I expect from black cab drivers is abuse

London is a good game in an artic, you have to enjoy it by getting your own back :sunglasses:
Avoid eye contact…They will think you havnt seen them and they are very wary of you then, you can even look in your mirrors without making it obvious......Good games to be played in the smoke. If you dont, it will drive you mad…

I allways thought that Black Cabs were not allowed on the road if they have any damage on them  thats why i never gave way for them.

I hate it with a passion, but it can be fun somedays!!

There just seems to be a spate of drivers putting their foot down when you indicate to move over on motorways, even though the outside lane is empty. Must be following those of the capital then, leading by example by the sounds of it.

But the annoying thing is, they accelerate past you to then stop at the traffic lights when you pull up behind  Great fuel savings there in these tough times eh?
