Can anyone tell me how bad an infringement it is to drive for 4 hours 30 mins and 45 seconds?
I was driving through the night from Scotland on Wednesday/Thursday night, it was thick fog, slightly mis judged it, driving a bit slower due to road conditions, got into Annanndale Waters Services on 4 Hours 29 mins, by the time I had thrown it across several parking bays head first (wasn’t too busy and didn’t block anyone else) digi tacho had tipped beyond 4 hours 30 and starts flashing up! ■■■■!
First week in new job, trying to do my best to keep job and be good at it.
Thanks for that Wheel Nut, just finished the week and downloaded my card, was half expecting my TM to go a bit funny with me on Monday when I see him next but he is a driver and a decent bloke.

A good analyst should pick it up but that should be the end of it, if anyone causes crap over it tell them to ■■■■ off
In October 2011 when the revised 1266/2009 regulations come in, you will be perfectly safe.
If the truck is at rest for 31 seconds, no driving will be recorded for that minute. Also, if the
truck is at rest for only 25 seconds but that is a longer period than two driving periods either
side within the calendar minute, no driving will be recorded for that minute.
The change - mostly to do with software — will mean that each minute will be recorded as
driving only if driving is the longest continuous period within the minute — for example, 31
seconds.
And thats why I hate DIGI cards… CHews up minutes even if yor not driving… What pees me off is they see the problem but dont do anything about it but quick to fine you for it if they see you over by 5/10/15mins+
