2022 Newbies

Thanks very much for the info Driveress, that’s really helpful…I’ll mssg you.

Afternoon All,

After 23 years in retail management, and being made redundant in June. I felt the time was right to explore a new career path.

Having always wanted to drive a HGV from an early age, I did my class 1 training last week, and passed my test on Friday. I was absolutely over the moon, but am keen to walk before I can run - confident that I will pick up lots of advice and guidance from the forum.

Just awaiting on my licence and drivers card to come through, and I will look to get started.

Good luck to anybody else on a similar journey. The team at Teesside LGV were superb and definitely deserve a shout out!

Ian

Congratulations on the pass and all the best. This forum is a great resource and will have all the info you’ll need to hit the ground running!
