just checked and 0 current penalty points 
I thought i was smart by not sending my license off for my points…
Not so smart when DVLA sent me a letter saygin license revoked for failure to surrender and i had to reaaply - no tests or anything but reapply and the points come preloaded…
i think its more to do with people have complained about being knicked doing the legal speed limit and getting a fine for it
