Winseer:
If you’re contracted for a 45 hour week, you’re better off doing 3x15 because you’re not only getting 4 days a week off, but you’re only having 3x1 hour deducted for breaks.
Do 5x9 hours, and you’re getting 2 hours more deducted - ie 5 days of 1 hour deductions instead of 3. That’s two extra hours a week unpaid, on top of only getting 2 days a week off instead of 4…
When you consider that we’re all dead in 100 years, one would think that ‘time’ has more value than an “easy life” to all of us…
I’ll think of you all when I’m sunning myself on the beach the rest of this week, having finished my week as of today’s shift end…
Who in their right mind wants to work 15 hours in one day? And do it 3 times a week!!
At the time of doing 15,s,13,s,70/80 hrs it may not make a lot of sense ,but then you see your pay slip and it makes perfect sense .
And let’s be honest what do you do when you finish after 10 hrs,go home and do gardening, decorating, house old chores, sit in chair snoring, pick the kids up from school :
!: ,gardening ,I’d rather be at work, sit in chair snoring, can do that at work and get paid

Hmm let me think about that…
3 days x 15hrs and 4 days off per week or 5 days x 9hrs and 2 days off per week, plus less money (less @ overtime rate & more break deductions). ?
Yep, it’s a really tough decision, I think I might need some help deciding!
nope they can plan you a 15 hour day 3 times a week without breaking any laws.
ERR NO! The driver MAY REDUCE THREE TIMES A WEEK basic tacho graph laws! The clue is in the MAY! regular rest is eleven, reduced rest UPTO three times a week is at the drivers descretion! I.E big balls

The driver MAY REDUCE THREE TIMES BEWEEN WEEKLY REST PERIODS, which is NOT the same as three times per week.

It doesn’t have to be three days back to back, if that’s what bothers the lightweights.
