Once you remember that the driver CPC is the driver’s responsibility, any employer offering any kind of help has to be viewed as ‘not bad.’
Your firm are paying for more than half of the requirement, so I reckon that you’re on a winner.

No, not by a long way…
There are many jobs that you wouldn’t even be considered for, if you didn’t have some form of mandatory qualification. It’s only because this driver CPC thing is so new that folks are kicking up a fuss about it.
I remember when the HGV (now LGV) licence first came out and there became a need to pass a driving test to drive a truck. Back then, people asked why they needed a ‘new fangled’ licence to do a job that they’d been doing for years and years without having to pass an extra driving test. The concept of this driver CPC thing is no different.
