Some pictures and a small diary of a run I did with Procar Intl and Ferrari from Trieste to Reims.We flew out from Stanstead Airport last Thursday and stayed in a hotel in Trieste on the Thursday night,Thursday night was spent in and around Trieste having dinner and a couple of drinks with some of the truckies from McLaren.On the Friday morning we walked from our hotel to the docks and met the ferry from Istanbul,we offloaded our Ferrari hospiltality trucks and the Ferrari team trucks,the team trucks were left at the port and we made our way up to Reims with the Ferrari hospiltality trucks.

what are the crane trucks for?
do you just do part time for them? why didn’t you all stay with the trucks?
The hospitality suite is made up of demountable pods on trailers and the crane is used to lift these in to place,trucks were double manned up to Reims then a regular team of drivers took them onto Silverstone for the next race.
it’s a shame you don’t stay with them they all look really smart and clean work

Now that would be a job i’d stay away for.
They build them things at the place we’re based in Colchester, they were in there for a few weeks putting it all together and doing a few mods and repairs, it takes them ages to build it, pratically inches at a time so not to cause any damage, but pretty impressive when it’s all done.
The trucks are spotless i have to say and the guys all seem pretty happy with the job, romour has it that it doesn’t pay too well though but they get lots of privieges

and to think i turned down a job with procar to come and work on a construction site in wales…the words crazy and fool come to mind… money was 3 times better here but how much better would that of been…
so i think i have spotted you twice of late mate?!!!

Nice way to earn a living, I notice that the Braun outfit has the Eddie Stobart stripes around the bottom, any link or is it just the Braun colours?
