Just a few recovery trucks, I’m sure there’ll be loads of others around.
Has anyone any pics of translink recovery- seem to remember they had alot of transcons
I’ll have a dig around bud
This AEC MK5 belonged to A.E.Evans and worked out of their Barking depot. The regular driver was “Wrecker Ronnie” and this motor was supposed to be the fastest AEC Mk5 in the south of England.

Try their website a few on there if you browse
The old AEC MK5 looked a beast for it’s time, I can just imagine it ploughing past everything else on the road
I read an article some time back that Fleur De Lys (dont know if thats how its spelt) from the midlands had a V8 AEC wrecker anyone remember it?
Please sir can I have one?

Some good pics there, quite a few from Truckfest Shepton Mallett. The Greenmeadow rotator you can see the back of was built as a demo for the NRC equipment on a 5 axle Iveco. The red Foden I recognise from being parked at a bus garage at Summercourt, Cornwall.
Some from Oswestry Truckshow 2010.
Carmarthen Truckshow 2010.
Seen at Gaydon 2010.
