Does anyone know of any companies in Scotland looking for a volunteer hgv driver to deliver aid to ukraine
I suspect most firms are just using normal logistics companies to the border. As for going in from the Polish border to Ukraine, that is the issue. A lot of roads are being targeted either by russians or by Ukraines destroying the roads to prevent Russian troop movements.
So getting supplies to Ukraine is something of a issue.
There’s million + who have fleed the place , with from reports millions more who would like if it was possible to get out of Ukraine & you want to go there !! Not the smartest move I’d of said

The only aid Ukraine can get, is to realise it was used by the west as a bait to hook the russian bear into a theatre where the ruskis will pour in all they can and fight to the last man, so the west can deal with a much weaker Russia later on. But how? If the Ukranian leadership looks like a broadcasting corporation board meeting, with no geopolitical background at all, that is actually encouraged by the west to continue the destruction of Ukraine and the prop up of actual nazis and their atrocities, mainly against fleeing ukranian civilians (azov battalion). But keep on absorbing the western propaganda to the point of willingly risking your life, for someone else geopolitical game.

There is only one policy in nato. The complete deindustrialization and break up of a unitary Russia. How to make policy where the policy has been made?

I asked a specific question and got a dozy driver who has had more hits than the beatles try to get lippy and a Russian propaganda piece.
I’ll assume I won’t actually get the answer to the question I asked and just a few attempts and trying to sound witty from a few knuckle draggers
There’s enough Ukranian drivers stuck here wanting to get back home, I’m not sure the right answer is for UK drivers to go in their stead; just need to pair up the companies planning to go with those drivers who need to go.

At least I eventually got home , you’re very likely to not get home at all , and you’re the smart one !!
On topic… most aid shipments are being dropped into Poland and shipped on from there when (and where) needed.
there’s about 14 ukriane artics stuck at rothwell serv’s , just need fuel and ferries and some customs docs abd i suspect they’d happily take whatever is going back to ukraine .

Exactly he has watch gb news and YouTube so is a expert in east/ west relations

There’s 5 in Argos Kettering where they are using the depot as a drop off point for donations for ukriane
Maybe, try to contact Red Cross, or Medicin Sans Frontiers, or ■■
Try those organisations who are established, and will need help?
There are very well intentioned maybe amateur persons wanting to do their best to help, but are the more ordinary routes to help better?
Those with more experience will always need help, and might make your efforts better focused?

I doubt that the PL/UA border crossings at Dorohusk and Medyka are even open at the moment for eastbound travel.
I imagine more aid will be sent once the dust has settled.
Conway Bailey / rr transport are sending 2 lorries to Poland then on into Ukraine , assuming the article is correct , they want there heads testing if you ask me , but I guess we’ve all been young and stupid once
