Theft from vehicle at Chester MSA - Unusal?

Wednesday the 14th, stopped at Chester MSA on the M56, only in there for 30mins, before going to Ince overnight.

Came back and some thieving [zb] had stolen one of the poles from my curtainsider !!!, leaving me with the last 6' or so of curtain flapping around, managed to secure it by folding curtain back on its self and strapping it down. Pole was removed by cutting bottom of curtain and sliding pole off, all fittings were taken as well

Has anybody else experienced this?

My boss, although understanding, thought it was a tack unusal, caused hassle travelling back down west, was waiting for the boys in blue to have a look.

Oh, not surprising staff at MSA deny all resposibilty

We are all in this job together (no matter what we haul) but this just about sums it all up.... stealing off your own, pitiful !

Thats a low down trick to play, and for what? All it does it create hassle for everybody, but then somebody who would stoop that low doesn't give a monkeys anyway.

was there no cctv for evidence,or i suppose it does not cover the parking areas

no cctv and pointed towards signs that state 'NOT THERE RESPONSIBILITY", no customer care what-so-ever

yes not there responsibility until its you who is damaging there property.but they don't want to take responsibility when it's there customers property
