Are you carrying an Attestation for your time off?
yes i have assestations, its not me thats being fined its the company,my digi card is spot on.
what have your company said. The company had to pay mine a few years ago when I got pulled by the Belgian police
They had to give the cash to another driver who was leaving the depot in Trafford park and he would be passing me 9 hours later
If it’s the company that is at fault then its their problem, nowt for you to worry about or anything you can do till they sort it, surely they have things in place

If Vasco cannot help you or is missing, there are agents who will sort these things out, or you can get the money to them through things like Daf Aid or DKV.
You really need to know what the charge is and whether you can argue it with a chief or superior officer.
fuel card company, but it’s expensive when you pay them back.
our insurance covers us, but the boss dosn’t like to use them.
to be honest, i’ve never done either method, i just know it’s possible.
can’t you appeal? they can’t hold you forever.
They have gone for the fastest option using Western Union
I was fined 2301,why do they make it the odd one euro at the end, bizzare??

Is it legitimate? Was the offence committed in Spain?
It could be a worrying thing as almost everyone’s truck will have some data memory of being driven with unnamed driver. Whether that is from loading in a depot, road test or initial delivery to operator.
Mechanics in the garage could drive around a yard with no digi in.
Smallp, they can n ot take the keys off you,you are allowed access to your bunk, and be near to a place with hot food and showers,it is the court deposit that is to be paid,to be contested at a later date, with maybe a refund on the money.
Ask to see their book that can list the offence code,i have done this before,it should show the amount of the fine.
If you are near a town,is there a transport agency or shipping firm that can advise you.?
Toby, did you actually read the first post ?

No mention of his keys being taken, clearly stated that he’s at a truck stop and clearly stated that he has been given an immobilisation order.
I have absolutely no idea how your mind works, it’s so clearly different to the way most other peoples minds work. BUT, I’m fairly sure that if they had taken his keys, smallp would have mentioned it, probably quite forcibly due to distress. He didn’t, so I expect he still has his keys.
He did say immobilisation order. This made me think he’s been given a piece of official paper which says he is not allowed to move, rather like an immediate GV9.
As he also stated he’s at a truckstop, I would be fairly confident that hot food and facilities are within reasonable reach and not a great concern.

What is the reason for the one euro they always tack on to an otherwise round figure?beginning at the bottom for what they consider little or minor offences tend to go up to 1500 euros, slightly more for the next scale of offences to 3000 euros and then to 5000 etc etc etc, every offence has a grade so basically they have given him the minimum fine for that grade of offence by fining him 3001 euros
It’s not just fines though, last time I parked at Ondo, it was 10.01 euros for parking.

The amount they fine people for minor infringements is ludicrous… 3300 euros■■?Is it even an infringement? Surely if this earlier driver’s card had been temporarily lost, that driver would have made the relevant explanatory printouts and kept them with him. All of which is nothing to do with smallp.
I’ve locked the other thread on this subject and copied the last 2 posts across to here, they appear as quotes in the 2 posts above this one.
