Norwegian Trucks

Immingham.The Mercedes back again.

Immingham today.

Hello Martin was wondering if tou had any phots of trucks from a company called Kristesetter ■■ spelling, from Andalsnes area. I spent 5 winters there, Setnesmoen (windy city) or Isfjorden during the 80’s and one of his was the 1st F12 I drove. Must have been almost new round headlight 385 tag tractor and low loader, went from there to Hjerrkin ranges with a couple of BV202’ on the back .Can remember the driver always telling me to ‘keep to middle’! Got there in one piece tho. Also remember the local Tollpost Globe and Linjegods trucks parked en route to the town, some in Coca Cola livery, seemed way ahead of the stuff back home in Blighty at the time, ah happy times indeed.

Martin last winter and now this year we are hearing a lot of talk of “winter tyres”, do you use these?, or just chain up when things get bad?.

In Norway you must drive on wintertyre’s from 30 october til easter…

Have to lift this nice thread. Some wonderful pictures you got there. Love to drive in Norway, the only place I haven’t yet tried is from Bergen to Kritisansund but prefer to wait for the summer before I go there. Love to drive north of Trondheim. Beautiful landscape, much calmer traffic and you don’t to pass through Southern Sweden to get there. To many 2 axle trucks in the way with problems

Have to ask, do you got any pics of Finnish Kalott truck company?
