The latest TRUCKING dropped through my letterbox today. I was having the usual flick-through tonight before I study it from cover to cover, when I noticed something a little strange about the photo on page 70 of the Darley Ford Transport motors. Anyone notice anything peculiar in the picture
I think someone’s been let loose with the Photoshop
Oh btw, not in a position to scan it right now, so you’ll have to go and buy one!
Could it be that the DAF at the front doesn’t have any tax discs in the holders (clearly see on the cover pic)■■ Or is that just a non-photoshop thing I have just spotted!?
Roger Breaker:
299 views and nobody’s spotted it yet?!
That is because they were hoping to SEE it

, not in a position to scan it right now
which is why there is that many views and no comments
BUY it ya cheapskate!
or at least flick through it in WH Smith. …or don’t, whatever!
Just thought a few on Trucknet may actually subscribe to Trucking, that’s all. Not all as sad as me I guess
I’m afraid that’s not the answer I was looking for Benni, but thank you for your input!

can someone scan it in my truck drivers meager wage cant buy magazines, shall have to rob a bank.
extrucker:
Could it be lack of drive axle on 09 Daf?All three wheels are the same.
Spot-on my man, 10 points! I guess you can afford your own copy now you’re an ‘extrucker’
Sorry to have caused so much trouble and heartache with this post ( ), it’s just that my phone isn’t compatible with a scanner, and I wrongly assumed that a higher percentage of users would have access to industry press.
Next time I’m home I’ll be sure to scan it up for anyone who’s interested
groovy greg:
is it me or does those yellow mudguards look like they been painted on using photoshop paint brush
and wouldnt that config reduce the weight the truck can pull
It would seriously reduce the weight it could pull, in fact it couldn’t pull anything as it doesn’t have a drive axle! Just looks like someone without much knowledge of trucks has been given the job of touching up the photo.
…Oh and the mudwings are genuinely yellow btw

no it wasnt the colour, if you look at the mudgards they look erm…blocky not smooth/rounded, looks like someone re touched them using yellow airbrush or maybe not.

That’s where they’ve copied the image of the midlift and pasted it where the drive axle should be, along with bits of the battery box and the AdBlue filler for some strange reason
