Wolter KOOPS truck confiscated

Good news for anyone sick of polish ect running around on uk traction.
Vosa have confiscated one of KOOPS new actros tractors today at killingholme.
Reason’ cabotage.
Vosa get a lot of stick on here, some of it deserved, but, they are the only ones doing anything about the free for all that is road haulage these days.

Let’s hope it goes in the crusher.

Fair play to vosa, them lot are ment to be pretty bad for doing dodgy things.

VOSA ought to get down to Ramsgate, or “Rumogate” as it’s known these days.

Koops… Drivers made to run till told to stop by Koops., and Koops pay there fine drivers hours etc, etc, you should see the tanker they bring across at weekends to fill the trucks up at the koops truck park at immingham,

Surely that can’t be legal to bring a tanker in on a ferry and use it to fill trucks in a truck park■■?

Yes Iain a tanker !!! watch and you will see old pal, oh its in rigid form as well

That is good news, probably the tip of the iceberg, but it’s a start.

How do vosa prove their case?? Does the driver have to provide paperwork with his date of entry into the uk??

No, it isn’t, it’s not even legal to pump diesel from one truck to another if the donor truck is using diesel on which UK duty has not been paid.

Rule that stops foreign companies coming over and doing “our work”, they can come over with a load, tip that then can do up to 3 jobs within a week then they must leave the country.

Cabotage is any movement undertaken entirely within the borders of a country by a truck which is registered in a different country. It isn’t illegal as such, although as has been pointed out there is a limit as to how many cabotage movements can be performed before a truck needs to leave the country.

Vosa can confiscate every truck in Europe it won’t improve the lot of the British operator one jot.Get real.

What exactly counts as a cabotage movement? If they did for example 3 separate pickups, and dropped it all at one place, does that count as 3 or 1?

Just curious, y’know

I do pass the koops free operating centre on the odd Sunday otherwise known as Immingham lorry park, never noticed a refuelling tanker.
I must go past at the wrong time.
A little dicky bird has told me that vosa have gotten their teeth well and truly stuck on to wolter koops gonads jack Russell style.
Two drivers were made homeless this afternoon just outside HST killingholme.
Mixed feelings about that really.
