Mod’s can you do your thing with this post and merge it with the correct topic please if possible. I’ve had a look my self and i cant find it, despite looking through 54 pages. The topic was about what drivers have in ther day/overnight bags.

Sorting through my work bag this morning as it was a bit of a mess i didnt actually realise just how much stuff i keep in this bag all the time. All i which i class as minimum to make my life that little bit easier on the road.

What do other people have other than what i have in my bag to make there driving/delivering easier, may be you have something handy that i havent thought about, and may make my life easier.

I only do day work not nights out.

DAF95XF:
What gear would I need for a typical day shift?

I already have a truckers atlas.

.
.
In a about four years time there will be something called a TomTom 5150.

You will then be able to sell your truckers atlas to a transport museum.

They may even turn it into a TV Ad like this one.
.
.

Mr B:
■■■■ and baby wipes.

If its not your lorry just use the curtains!

Clip board, bottles of water, wire cutters (for some reason our loaders put zippy ties on the cages).

Load of ■■■■. For when you’re not in the cab, obviously

I take far too much kit, I’ve been asked when getting my stuff out if I’m a tramper :open_mouth:
I use a backpack, a large holdall and a bag for my boots :grimacing: in the winter I take another large holdall :grimacing:

On the off chance I either get a full time class 2 job or signed upto an agency on my days off (see next posting), what gear would I need for a typical day shift?
I already have a truckers atlas, the truckers handbook, steel toecap boots and hi vis vest, is there anything else I would need?
