Thought I’d share my project that I’m building with my shooting partner.
We do a lot of clay shooting and decided to build a shed to park on our shoot.
I’m not to good on the computer so bear with me.
It started with a caravan trl of eBay for 68 quid .
Bought on a whim after a few beers.
I’ll post more later if anybody is interested.
Yea, love it, especially the wood burner!
It’s been a build with no plans just made it up on the go.
It’s 14 6 long 7ft 6in wide
And I’ve used a lot of scrounged bits.
I can’t get the pics the right way round but if you click on them they are OK.
Managed to blag 2 double glazed windows and a piece of double glazed glass.
2 batteries going to wire it up 12 v.
Solar panel.
Granite work top.
Plywood sheets and a load of insulation.
So I’m keeping cost to a minimum.
More to come if anyone interested.
It’s going to be sited on some land near to me.
It’s fairly remote and we do a bit of fishing and have 3 duck pits and a couple of pheasant feeders.
We shoot nothing but clays.
Few more pics then I’ll update end of week.
Back to work Monday so better get me head down.
I’ll do a bit each night.
Post an update Fri if anybody is interested.
Anyone else got a project on the go.
I love the lorries but I need something else other than diesel.

What in the name of blue [zb] is that?
It will all make sense when it’s done.
This might give you a better perspective.
I have the pleasure of pheasants ducks buzzards and foxes all manner of things and this shed will let me have a brew and put me feet up while I’m down there with my dog.
Also store some stuff I use.
You could show us some of your hobbies , I’m interested in anything anybody puts their mind to and then turns it into reality.
It’s only going to be towed once to its permanent site hence building it on a caravan chassis…
I now have a sore neck !! try a bit harder to post the pics the right way
looks good to me, don’t matter how you look at it, and a bloody good idea. Looking forward to seeing the finished job.
Why not just get any old caravan, paint it in camouflage designs, done job an you still retain the goodies inside ?
(or even leave the paint as it was and just cover it with camouflage netting)
It would have made sense to just have a caravan but I wanted a challenge.
The farmer who owns the land wanted something built using wood and I had to abide by his wishes.
I have blagged scrounged begged all manner of things and I wanted to build it, never built anything before so just cracked on.
I appreciate not everyone can get their heads round it but hey ho I don’t get football but each to their own.
Sorry about the pics being the wrong way round but you can click on them and they will be the right way up.
Computers are not my strong point.
Thanks for the comments.
I have got some coroline roofing has anybody fitted any of these bitumen sheets ?
Any tips ?
I am going to have a stainless flue coming through one sheet so I’m a bit dubious regarding heat etc.
I bought a cane 2 seater and two chairs of eBay for the grand sum of £10.50.
You can see the 2 seated frame in the background.
The missus is airing the cushions.
The log burner is going to be painted black.
Sorry for any sore necks.
Log burner burning
I might have cracked posting photos the right way round now
Keep up the good work I love projects like this, just done for fun and the challenge.
Could you not get a sheet of corrugated iron for where the flu goes thru ?
I did think of a sheet of wriggly tin raymundo, but the noise of rain drumming on it would do my head in.
I also thought a sheet of fibre corrugated but I’ll have to be careful it’s not asbestos due to fibres and dust when cutting a hole in it.
Ta for the input I’ll keep thinking it will come to me with a little help.
